Next Step Care, Inc. ("Next Step Care", "us", "we", or "our") operates the nstepcare.com website and the
mobile application.
This page informs you of our policies regarding collecting, using, and disclosing personal data when you
use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data. We use your data to provide and
improve the Service. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of the information by this
policy. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, the terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same
meanings as our Terms and Conditions.
Definitions
Service
Next Step Care operates the https://nstepcare.com website and the mobile application.
Personal Data
Personal Data means data about a living individual who can be identified based on this data (or from this
and other information either in our possession or likely to come into our possession).

Usage Data is data collected automatically, either generated by the Service or from the Service
infrastructure itself (for example, the duration of a page visit).

Next Step Care team members
People who have entered into a contract with the company and signed non-disclosure agreements. Next
Step Care team members sign additional agreements governing data handling.

Types of Data Collected
Personal Data
While using our Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information to
contact or identify you ("Personal Data"). The personally identifiable information may include, but is not

● operation system version;
● language & region (Application does not use geolocation. Region is the information associated with
your phone account);

● data on physical characteristics, including body measurements such as width, length, arch height,
heel-to-toe length, and instep height for each of your feet.
A video of your feet is processed on your device. The collection of the video happens only after getting
your additional consent. The video may be recorded by a TrueDepth camera (TrueDepth is a trademark
of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries). We use the information we collect to customize
our services for you, including providing recommendations. We also use your information to ensure our
services are working as intended, such as tracking outages or troubleshooting issues that you report to
us.
When you start using the application, you are assigned a USER ID. The USER ID is required for technical
support and using our services. Deleting the application removes the USER ID. If you download the
application again, you will be assigned a new USER ID.
Usage Data
We may also collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Service or access the
Service by or through a mobile device ("Usage Data").
This Usage Data may include information such as your computer's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP
address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of
your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.
When you access the Service by or through a mobile device, this Usage Data may include information
such as the type of mobile device you use, your mobile device unique ID, the IP address of your mobile
device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browser you use, unique device
identifiers and other diagnostic data.

Next Step Care uses Personal Data to share with your authorized doctor and for analysis of the condition
of your feet (incl. but not limited to flat feet, pronation, hallux valgus) and other lifestyle data, intended
to be used for recreational purposes only, to help you live a healthier life. In order to protect you, we
keep common information about your foot size. Collecting your personal information is necessary for:
● creating a personal account;
● analysis of your physical characteristics;
● share relevant information with your authorized doctor;
● validating you are of legal age to use our services;
● testing and improving our systems and services;
● technical support;
● managing our business.
Sharing your Personal Data
When we are working with third-party services, we transmit minimum personal data. Third parties make
requests regarding information about the type and size of your shoes to our server and we answer them
about the relevance of these pairs of shoes for a particular person.
Third parties are allowed to receive only the result of impersonal analysis of Personal Data. Moreover,
data transfer isn’t possible without signing an NDA.
Our Products and Websites may allow you to interact with other digital products and services. If you use
our Products or Websites in connection with a third-party product or service, your privacy rights on any
third-party platform may be governed by the third party’s policies in parallel with the Policy. This will
mean that any information the third party collects outside of our Products or Websites, but which the
third-party shares with us, will be subject to the third-party privacy policy.

Our principle is data protection by design and by default, but we hope for prudence in the actions you

if such access is necessary, your Personal information can be accessed only by those Next Step Care team
members whose professional tasks require using this information. To protect your Personal Information
and ensure its confidentiality, these Next Step Care team members must comply with internal rules and
follow protocols for processing Personal Information. They are also required to follow all technical and
organizational security measures protecting your Personal Information.
International Data Transfers
The Personal Data we collect or generate (process) in the context of our Products and Website will be
stored in the USA.

What are your rights
If it is provided by applicable law, you have a right of access to your Personal Information as processed by
Next Step Care under this Policy.
If you believe that any information we hold about you is incorrect or incomplete, you can log in to your
user account and correct your Personal information yourself.

Next Step Care will honor any such requests or objections as required under applicable law.

To exercise the above rights, please log in to your user account, which will provide you with the option to
do so, or in case of the absence of a special function in the user account interface, please contact us at
support@nstepcare.com.
If you are not satisfied with how we process your Personal information, please let us know, and we will
investigate your concern. If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to make a
complaint to the competent data protection authority.
Limitation of Liability
Next Step Care makes no representations whatsoever about any other Web site or third-party service
which you may access through this site. When you access a non-Next Step Care Web site or purchase
services from a third party, you understand and acknowledge that it is independent of Next Step Care
and that Next Step Care has no control over the content on any such Web site or services.
In addition, a link to a non-Next Step Care Web site does not mean that Next Step Care endorses or
accepts any responsibility for the content, or the use, of such Web site. It is your responsibility to take
precautions to ensure that whatever you select for your use by you is free of items such as viruses,
worms, trojan horses, and other items of a destructive nature.
In no event will Next Step Care be liable for any damages whatsoever, including special, indirect, or
consequential damages, arising out of or in connection with the use or performance of the information
available or referred to on this site.
Help desk
When contacting the developers to provide feedback or troubleshoot the app, you send Next Step Care
an e-mail about the error.
The email is to be sent from the “Contact us button” in the app.
The email is sent from your personal email to support@nstepcare.com
To resolve your problem faster, you need to describe in detail what was expected of the app and how the
app performed.
The message contains:
● application version;
● scanner version;
● submit date;
● USER ID;
● reconstruction ID (a unique 3d scan number);
● phone Model;
● operation system version;
● Language & Region;
This information could be processed by Next Step Care team members in manual mode. The manual
processing of information is aimed at a high-quality individually oriented approach to solving the
problem. All information is transmitted in encrypted form.
Next Step Care team members who are allowed to process personal data manually enter into additional
agreements regulating actions with this information.
The equipment on which this information will be processed is protected from unauthorized access by
third parties.
Personal Data Controller
Next Step Care, Inc., a legal entity incorporated under the laws of Delaware, the USA, will be the
controller of your personal data.
Changes to this Policy
With the development of the service, our Policy may change. If we decide to update our Policy, we will
post the updated Policy on our Websites and in our mobile application. We will not reduce your rights
under this Privacy Policy without your explicit consent. Next Step Care shall be entitled to make such
amendments at its discretion, including, without limitation, to reflect changes in the applicable
legislation. We strongly encourage you to read our Policy and regularly check for any changes.
